Its important to follow these aftercare instructions so your extensions will last and look great for longer!

When you have had your extensions fitted, do not wash your hair for minimum of 48 hours, this allows time for the bonds to "set" and become hard. 

 

Never condition the bonds, condition from mid length down only. 

It is important to rinse your hair thoroughly as if there is any shampoo/conditioner still in the hair it will brake down the bonds and they will go squishy and slip out and wont be able to be re-used.

Only use Specialist Hair Extension Products as some commercial products have strong chemicals in that can dry out extension hair and soften bonds causing them to slip. 

 

Wear a soft scrunchie at night to keep your extensions neatly in a soft ponytail to prevent knotting. 

If sunbathing wear a hat or scalf so that the sun does not dry out your extensions. 

 

Hair extensions must be removed after 3 months. If you leave them in for longer this will put under strain on the roots. 

Do not bleach or dye your extensions as the chemicals in the colourant may not be compatible with the chemicals used to process your extensions and the result may not be successful. 

 

Do not chemically straighten or perm extensions. 

Never use straghteners near the bonds as they will melt and come out, always use them from mid lengths to ends. 

Come back for maintenance appointments every 6-8 weeks

 

Eyelash extensions

 

Maintainance is every 2 weeks, when you first have them done, don't get them wet for at least 24 hours, do not use oily make up remover, don't rub them and dont pick! wash your lashes with a lash cleanser or baby shampoo, this keeps then fresh and clean and washes the dirt build up away keeping your lashes healthy
